ABOUT WOLF LARSEN

Wolf Larsen is a songwriter and author based in Tucson, Arizona, known for her arresting and emotional music. Often compared to Leonard Cohen, her one and only album, Quiet at the Kitchen Door, has captivated listeners worldwide, amassing over 80 million streams.

Her songs have been praised for the aching clarity and expansive stillness they evoke, capturing the essence of her rare live performances that leave audiences spellbound. Most recently, her song “If I Be Wrong,” was featured in Tim Burton’s Netflix hit show Wednesday, a testament to the cinematic quality of the work.

Beyond her music, Larsen is also the author of the acclaimed book, The Lady’s Handbook for Her Mysterious Illness, (Doubleday) which details her personal battle with severe chronic pain and illnesses and advocates for the millions who suffer from invisible disabilities. Her writing has also appeared in The Paris Review, Ms. Magazine, and Salon.

Despite being unable to tour or play live shows, she remains a powerful voice with both her musical and literary contributions.

On that score, Larsen has new music coming out later in 2024 for the first time in twelve years.
